I decided to get into the ACEO game! What's an ACEO? Just read below:
"Artist Trading Cards (or ATCs) are miniature works of art about the same size as modern baseball cards,[1] or 2 ½ X 3 ½ inches (6cm X 9cm),[2] small enough to fit inside standard card-collector pockets, sleeves or sheets.[3] The ATC movement developed out of the mail art movement and has its origins in Switzerland.[4] Cards are produced in various media, including dry media (pencils, pens, markers, etc), wet media (watercolor, acrylic paints, etc), paper media (in the form of collage, papercuts, found objects, etc).
An offshoot of Artist Trading Cards are the "Art Cards, Editions, and Originals" (ACEO). ACEOs originated when some artists began to create cards to sell, in addition to trading among themselves."

So, I decided to make some mini artworks myself. Here are some examples:
And to see more, you can visit my ACEO gallery album here. And if you're interested in buying one of my ACEO art cards, or any of my other pieces of artwork, visit my Etsy shop and have a look.

I finally put some of my artwork up for sale at my Etsy shop. I have my acrylic paintings and my mixed media pieces up for sale at the moment. I also have a couple of ACEO original art cards for sale as well. Want to know what an ACEO art card is? Just click here! They're basically trading card-size pieces of art that usually sell for very reasonable, low prices. So, that's what my new project is, is to make ACEO art cards on top of what I'm working on already. I'm also working on a watercolor mermaid painting, a sexy dominatrix, and a dragonfly fairy. I feel as if I'm forgetting something. I have enough on my plate for the moment, though, so I really don't think that I need to start working on anything else at the moment. Thanks for reading!

I FINALLY finished the galleries. The photography gallery is all set up to go. You can see it by clicking the link on the top bar of the page that says "photography"...just in case some of you missed it ;) The only page left for me to do is the shop. That will probably take me a while though because I have to find all my artwork so I can list everything that I still have that is up for sale. Also, prints of all my artwork and photography are for sale, 8.5"x11" glossy prints for $15, signed. So if there is something that you like in one of my galleries that you like and want a print of, just email me at shellyolmstead@gmail.com with a link to the picture that you want, and I will email you back with payment information. Thank you for looking!

So here's what's going on with the site so far. I've made some progress. I have made a list of links that is in a module on the right of the screen, and I have put up the contacts page and the "about the artist" page, whom my friend Mariann Simms wrote for me (thank you Mariann! http://www.humormeonline) I'm still in the process of resizing all of my images, so that the viewer can see them all at once and not have to scroll the page to see more of the image, so getting my artwork and photography may take a while to get up. And, I'm trying to figure out how to not upload, but install (probably not the right word) a classy photo gallery onto my website so I don't have to make every individual page and thumb individually before I upload any images. So if there's anyone out there that can help, please, contact me at shellyolmstead@gmail.com! Also, if you want to see my art and photography in the meantime, feel free to visit me at my deviantART page.
Until then, ciao!

I have a little bit done on the website, but it will take a lot more time for me to finish it because I'm going through ALL of my images of artwork and my photographs and adding new watermarks to them. The ones that I had on them before were just too obvious, and took away from the images. And I'm also trying to figure out how to embed this blog onto the front page of my site. So, wish me good luck!
